It's good to be home.
It was a pretty good travel from Hludao-Beijing-Manila then to Zamboanga. Last Saturday was the school's 7th Graduation Ceremonies. As usual, I was the emcee again. We started a quarter past 9 which was super late in terms of "chinese's time standards." The program was supposed to start at exactly 9, however, the people from the local media was late. Luckily, we managed to finish at 11:15. After my last phrase "...live and grow in the loving world, " I rushed to change my attire and got my packed things which i brought to the WarTai Hotel early that day. I had to run past other kids and parents waiting on the elevator door. I had to move quickly and jump into the taxi to the bus station. Ms. Rose and Ms. Jessie helped me through the rushing. We reached the bus station and I had to line up immediately as the officers checked the tickets.
I reached Beijing and had to rest for the next day's flight. I stayed in Dheck's flat in Bejing. The next day, Dheck and I luckily managed to rent a car to bring us from the flat to the airport. It was a 40 minute ride from ZhongGuanCUn to the Airport. We checked-in at 3 in the afternoon. The checking in was on time but the plane left Beijing 30 minutes past the scheduled time 4:15pm. China Southern Airlines is one good Chinese Airlines but they rarely have delays. It was just a bad day perhaps. On the other side, it was a safe a nice journey. There were a lot of pinoy kids on board the plane. The kids were participants to a mathematics competition sponsored by Mathematics Teachers Guild (MTG). I heard some kids fared in the competition well. I saw some kids with big glass trophies. The airlines had to stop in Xiamen at 7:15pm and flew to Manila after an hour. By the way, one good point: They serve good meals 2 times. We reached Manila at 10 30pm and had to rushed through the long immigration line. Most people lining up were 'balikbayans' like me. It was blisstalgic (bliss+nostalgic) to see how excited their faces are while carrying duty free bags with chocolates and other stuffs.
After the long line, we rode the shuttle bus to Terminal 2/Centennial Airport at 1 am. As soon as I reached there, I saw the infamous bee mascot in red and yellow. waaaaaaaa! Jollibee time! We enjoyed eating spag and chicken after a year of crazing. I waited at the airport for my next flight which is at 4 am. Luckily, I reached the city safe and sound with God's grace and guidance. There was no bombing cases! ouch.. I really feel disheartened to listen to bad news like bombings in the city. I hope these incidents would not happen again.
Whooops, I feel so happy to be back home again. See you around guys.

AI9 top 12 Analogy with some AI Alums
I am going to make some analogy of the AI 9 top 12 to some AI Alums. Now that we have the top12 of the AI Season 9, I would love to look at the previous AI alums which are remarkably somewhat similar to them. Again, I am an AI fan and I will always be.
1. Katie Stevens – Diana DeGarmo
At 16 years old, Diana was the runner up to Fantasia of Season 3. I really loved her very cute personality and enthusiasm on stage. What Katie Stevens need is to have fun and enjoy her performances like Diana did.
2. Crystal Bowersox – Kelly Clarkson
I think like Kelly Clarkson, Crystal is very consistent in her performances. She knows herself as an artist and could make it really good in the future. She needs to continuously believe in herself and perform well and will reach her to the finale.
3. Siobhan Magnus – Katharine McPhee
She has a very good voice like Katherine. I remembered Katherine McPhee when Siobhan sang her Top10 girls song “Think” by Aretha Franklin. The performance was really good especially the last note where she has to belt it so high and was perfect! Just like Katherine, She has vocal perfection. Hehehe! She needs to follow through her style and bring her to the finale.
4. Lacey Brown – Allison Iraheta
One similarity would be her red hair. Hehehehe! Musically, she can be a Carrie Underwood in the making? Hehehe (I just can’t find an Alum that is like her, Amy Adams? Fantasia? Syesha? Vonzell? Or ADAM LAMBERT?)
5. Didi Benami – Kellie Dawn Pickler
Like Kellie, she is gorgeous and sweet. She needs to move more on stage and enjoy every performance. She has got a distinct country voice that will really bring her to the top. I would love to see Didi perform Walkin After Midnight. Magan Corkrey also did a good version of the song. I hope 1950’s theme would be up.
6. Paige Miles – Kimberly Locke
She is pretty like her and got a good voice that could belt high notes. She just needs to be gorgeous like her when she performs.
7. Andrew Garcia – Danny Gokey 2.0
Aside from the glasses, they both have the very good voice. He has a really good talent. He can make it to the top if he could definitely choose his songs well and sing without hesitation. Like Danny Gokey, he can have a lot of growing fans that will support him to the top.
8. Lee Dewyze – David Cook
They both have the scruffs…Just like David Cook, he has the raspy voice that is enviable. He is also good looking that people would love to see him perform. He is one of my faves in the guys so I expect him to be more relaxed and consistent in his performances
9. Michael Lynche – Ruben Studdard
Having the size of Ruben Studdard, Michael is as awesome as the winner of Season 2. He has been very good in his performances. He sings with a heart and knows how to move around on stage. He has got a great falsetto that is really good. I hope this guy would stick around well if he gets the Ruben Studdard love.
10. Aaron Kelly – David Archuleta
Just like Archie, Aaron is young and vibrant. He sings with his passion but looks uncomfy in his performances. He needs to have the Archie factor to step up his game. He just needs to wear a smile always when he performs and look really cute all the time.
11. Tim Urban – Kris Allen
He can sing but seems so confused about him being in the contest. He can do very well if he could be more creative and charismatic in his performances. He needs to choose good songs and make it his own. Kris has the style which Tim could use to win votes.
12. Casey James –Chris Daughtry
With the style of Chris, Casey would make it far in the competition. He has the good looks plus the good voice. I just love his Heaven performance. He definitely do more of the cool performances to bring him to the top.

American Idol Results Top 20
Goodbye to my favorite girls Ashley and Janell... huhuhu! I really wanted them on the top 12. ok
Joe Munoz did very well in his performance but did not win the hearts of American voters. He just got voted off. Tyler Grady, the wannabe-rocker did not make it to the next round. I am not a fan anyway.
:) Whooops.. AI exit song is by British Pop Idol Will Young's "Leave Right Now."

Taiwanese girl kissing 100 men in Paris
It was a web sensation here in China about the Taiwanese girl who is on a quest to kiss 100 men in Paris.
Taiwan woman on quest for kisses(HK Edition)
TAIPEI: A woman from Taiwan, whose ambition is to kiss 100 men in Paris, has become an overnight web sensation after she provided details of the quest on her blog.
Yang Ya-ching, a 27-year-old music major living in the French capital, has so far notched up 54 smooches, she said on her blog, which features photos of some of the encounters.
Collaborators in her project include a factory worker, a model, an Italian tourist and even a soldier visiting the French capital for Bastille Day. Some who are assisting her in her quest are attractive, though others are bald and paunchy.
"I came up with the idea three years ago," she said on her blog.
Her friends didn't like the idea, saying kissing 100 men would be like having sex with 100 men.
"Three of my four friends who were aware of the plan warned me that I might wind up getting slapped rather than kissed."
But after spending two years in Paris, Yang said the idea kept nagging at her. This time she put it into action. "I have the courage and ability to do what I want," Yang wrote in her blog.
The first kiss happened near a museum on July 14. The collaborator is a worker and the kiss was like "a leaf falling into my pocket by accident," she wrote.
Some of kisses hold the potential to develop into romance: Yang had been invited to visit a French man teaching in Africa.
Yang, who plans to write a book about her kissing experiences, has attracted 1.97 million visitors to her blog, including more than 224,000 yesterday alone.
Supporters hailed Yang for her courage to take up a challenge while detractors accused her of "worshipping everything foreign" and warned about the hygiene issue.
"Aren't you afraid of catching a disease?" one of her followers asked.
"No," she replied. "The more you're afraid of, the less you accomplish."
